S1E1: A Land Best Forgotten[ | ]
Find and Repair the Bridge to Glacier Peaks[ | ]
Explore the Map to find the remnants of a broken Bridge. In Saga, it will be found at the end of a path. In Survival, it will be on a neighboring island.
Need help? Find a Sorcerer to purchase a Bridge Treasure Map to reveal its location.
Repairing the Bridge will take some Resources, so be sure to gather these along the way:
Souls x2,500
Cut Stone x50
Wrought Iron x30
Ancient Core x10
Stronger enemies with yellow health bars like Linnorms, Trölls and Witches will drop the Ancient Cores needed.
Restoring the Quarry will help get those Materials in Saga. Breaking down Barricades is also a good way to gather quickly. Upgrading your Pickaxe will yield higher numbers of Resources if collecting Stone and Iron by harvesting.
Hint: With more quest items to find in following steps, you may find more Treasure Chests and Barriers to provide Bridge materials without having to spend time crafting them yet.

S1E2: The Belly of the Beast[ | ]
Reactivate the Portal to the Fenrir Lair[ | ]
Once across the Bridge, search for the portal to Fenrir's Lair.
These items are required to get into the Lair:
Jötunn Fragment x15
Quest Fragment x25
Event Fragment x50
- Locate a Hideout in a walled-off area of the Smoky Highlands. There are three maze-like levels each Hideout. Only the bottom floor needs to be completely cleared before being able to open the Treasure Chest containing the Hideout Fragments and other goods. The number of Fragments available to each Viking scales based on the number of players in the World, so more Vikings may need to loot the chest to gain enough fragments to open the Lair.
- Defeat any Jötunn to earn the Jötunn Fragments. These giant foes will be found approaching the Village after Day 2 in Saga or in the Arenas in Survival.
- Personal Quests will reward Quest Fragments. Find the Quest Board near the Longhouse in the Village in Saga or craft it with the Allforge after defeating Járnsaxa in Survival.
- Event Fragments can be picked up by completing the objective of the Event. Keep an eye out for the yellow Event icon and corresponding yellow radius circus on the Map to find one of three Global Events. Completing multiple Events may be required.
In Saga, fragments can be purchased from Sorcerers in Smoky Highlands, Ash Beach, Land of Pools and Bright Forest for between 150-1500 Souls each.
In Survival, fragments can be crafted using the Artifact Altar.

S1E3: The Gambit of the Gods[ | ]
Defeat Fenrir to alter Ragnarök[ | ]
Fenrir can take on two forms: Doomhowler Fenrir (red glowing entrance) and Wolfmancer Fenrir (purple glowing entrance). The form is random and is only revealed by the color of the entrance once the Lair has been unlocked.
To summon Fenrir, find the Gjöll Boulder within the Lair and activate it to begin the battle. Fenrir does not have an Elemental Weakness.
In Survival, Fenrir and other Ancients will respawn and level up approximately 2 hours after defeat.

In Survival, head back to Eira Foot-Crushed at the Sanctuary to get your reward.
In Saga, grab another Saga Quest from the Sanctuary Stones or exit the World via the Bifröst in order to collect your Golden Horns.
