Tools are necessary items for fishing, mining, wood gathering operations. Visit Eyrún the Tinker with collected materials to craft your tools in Saga mode or at the Tool Grinder in Survival mode.
All tools have a certain quality: COMMON, UNCOMMON, RARE, EPIC, LEGENDARY. Higher quality tools produce more resources and souls from harvests. Higher quality tools also have higher durability.
- For example, harvesting Gold Deposits with a Flint Pickaxe would give a base of 1, 2, or 3 Gold, but harvesting with a Crystal Pickaxe would give 3, 5, or 8 Gold. Up to 2.5 times more Gold (rounded up). The same applies for Souls. Gold tools will harvest 4, 7 or 10 resources.
The legendary-tier Gold Tools must be unlocked in the Rewards (Menu) with Golden Horns.
Repairing 
In Saga mode, damaged tools can be restored using Souls at the Repair Bench in the Village. In Survival mode, use the Allforge to repair gear. Sometimes upgrading a tool is more cost-effective than repairing a completely broken one.
