The backbone of many raiding parties, the blacksmith Steinar grew annoyed with the brittle steel he and his Viking companions had to work with. On one fateful journey, after breaking his fifth axe of the day, Steinar claims he dreamed of the Sons of Ivaldi, the legendary dwarven forgemasters of Niðavellir, and their weapons were unlike anything he had ever seen. Steinar vowed on that day that he would dedicate his life to transcending his craft, one axe at a time.
