Serpent Saga is a Saga Quest in Tribes of Midgard. In Saga, this quest can be chosen at the Sanctuary Stones. In Survival, speak to Eira Foot-Crushed.

S2E1: To Distant Shores[ | ]
Rebuild the Shipyard located on a nearby Ash Beach[ | ]
Explore the Map to find the remnants of a rundown Shipyard on an Ash Beach near the Village in Saga. In Survival, the Boat Dock will give access to boatmaking.
Repairing the Shipyard will take some Resources, so be sure to gather these along the way:
Souls x500
Wooden Boards x10
Wrought Iron x6
Ancient Core x2
Restoring the Quarry and Lumberyard can help get those Materials passively in Saga. Breaking down Level 3 Constructions is also a good way to acquire the Wooden Boards and Iron quickly. Upgrading your Tools will yield higher numbers of Resources if collecting Wood and Iron by harvesting.
Stronger enemies with yellow health bars like Linnorms, Trölls and Witches will drop the Ancient Cores needed.
Hint: This step is recommended but optional. While boats are helpful to complete the quest, some islands can be reached by swimming or the Sailor Starter Kit will provide a Færing Boat from the start.

S2E2: The Omens Left Behind[ | ]
Sail to the Beacons and light them up (0/3)[ | ]
Three Beacons can be found on Ash Beach islands off the coast of the mainland. Time can be spent sailing around looking for them, but a Beacon Treasure Map will help point the way. Treasure Chests in Ash Beach Camps hold these maps which can be picked up by each nearby Viking to reveal the location of another Beacon on the Map.
Sorcerers in Ash Beach in Survival or Smoky Highlands in Saga will also sell Beacon Treasure Maps for 800 Souls.
Finding the Beacons is only half the battle. Poison Ballistas line the entrance to each Beacon, and there are sure to be Fossegrims with their Selkie or Unsunken friends to overcome before lighting the beacon and looting some Treasure.

S2E3: Into the Maw[ | ]
Open the Portal to the Jörmungandr Lair[ | ]
Once all three Beacons are lit, the location of the portal to Jörmungandr's Lair will be revealed on the World Map. It will be found on another Ash Beach island. Travel there and activate the portal in order to enter the Lair.

S2E4: To an End Unknown[ | ]
Defeat Jörmungandr to alter Ragnarök[ | ]
Jörmungandr can take on two forms: Bonebreaker Jörmungandr (teal glowing entrance) and Vilespitter Jörmungandr (pink glowing entrance). The form is random and is only revealed by the color of the entrance once the Lair has been unlocked.
To summon Jörmungandr, find Thor's Bait within the Lair and activate it to begin the battle. 
Jörmungandr has an Elemental Weakness against Thunder.
In Survival, Jörmungandr and other Ancients will respawn and level up approximately 2 hours after defeat.

In Survival, head back to Eira Foot-Crushed at the Sanctuary to get your reward.
In Saga, grab another Saga Quest from the Sanctuary Stones or exit the World via the Bifröst in order to collect your Golden Horns.
