* Get to know the vendor [[NPCs]] in the [[Village]] who replace many of the stations built by the [[Allforge]] in Survival mode.
* The Village is surrounded by a wall with [[Fortified Gate]]s which can be upgraded with [[Materials]] collected or crafted. Stronger gates can sustain more hits from the Helthings and may not need as much help overnight. '''Don't forget to close the gates!'''
* [[Archer Tower]]s can be built on either side of the gates and can also be upgraded to help in the fight. These towers can be stocked with [[Ammunitions]] from your own stock and the [[War Chest]].
* There is a [[Golden Altar]] in the Longhouse behind [[Dagný the Seeress]] which will sell up to 5 [[Runes]] at an increasing cost of [[Golden Horn]]s to help get you started.
* A [[Quest Board]] is found outside the Longhouse.
* A [[Repair Bench]] is near the [[War Chest]]. Unlike with the Allforge, repairing will require a trip back to the Village unless [[Repair Potion]]s are on hand.
