The Quarry is a point of interest in Bright Forest. In Saga mode, this building can be found derelict in Bright Forest and can be rebuilt with resources. When the Quarry is active again, its products are stored in the Village War Chest.

The Quarry is often a priority to rebuild, as its deliveries help greatly to gain the construction materials needed to fortify the Village and rebuild other buildings and the Bridge.

Ásta may have a need for that Rusty Pickaxe and could send you on a Rock Solid Quest with a reward for your troubles.
