“Son of Loki and Angrboða, a young Jörmungandr was cast in the oceans of Miðgarð by a fearful Óðinn. Beneath the waves, Jörmungandr grew and grew until, it is said, that his body could wrap around the entirety of Miðgarð, earning him the moniker of World Serpent. The rising waters and thrashing of the seas portends to the coming of Ragnarök, as Jörmungandr emerges from the dark ocean depths to enact his vengeance.

Jörmungandr is an Ancient in Tribes of Midgard who can take on one of two forms: Bonebreaker Jörmungandr or Vilespitter Jörmungandr.
Jörmungandr can be located in his Lair on an Ash Beach island. The location will be revealed on the map after the 3 Beacons have been lit. (It can also be found with a Lair Treasure Map or exploring and revealing that portion of the map. However, the portal cannot be opened until the beacons have been lit.) To summon Jörmungandr, find Thor's Bait within the Lair and activate it to begin the battle.
