This article is about the in-game world Events. For the limited-time festive events, see Festive Events. |
Events are part of the gameplay of Tribes of Midgard. Complete these global events to earn event fragments and souls.
There are three world events. Events are random and happen about every 3 days throughout the world. When you hear the drums of an event starting, check the map to look for a yellow ring indicating the area of where to find the event and how long you have to complete it.
Prisoner Event[ | ]
The Dark Elves have taken prisoners, and you can free these captured souls from their nefarious clutches. Keep a particular eye out for Ottó the Adventurer, who has ambitions to become a true Viking. To help him get there, you need to stage one of the oldest traditions in Viking lore, a prison break. Free him, and event fragments are yours.
- To complete: Find Ottó within the yellow circle on the world map when the alert sounds. His cage is surrounded by guards to defeat before breaking down the cage and releasing the prisoner.
Roosters of Ragnarök Event[ | ]
Gullinkambi and its siblings Fjalar and the famous (ok, maybe not) Unnamed Rooster have crowed! And when these roosters of legend crow, it is said to be the first sign of Ragnarök. Find those roosters and don’t be afraid to resort to “fowl play” if you must.
- To complete: Once the roosters have arrived, three yellow circles will appear on the world map. Find a rooster roaming within that circle and capture it. You'll have to be quick; they're speedy!
World Tree Stags Event[ | ]
Some event fragments are brought to you as you protect your village. Four magical stags live in the branches of Yggdrasil: Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Durathrór.
- To complete: An alert sounds when a deer has descended from the World Tree to visit this Realm. Find one within the yellow circle on the world map and commune with them, then consider it your lucky day!
