Tribes of Midgard Wiki

There are four Elements in Tribes of Midgard: Fire, Ice, Thunder and Dark. All hostile creatures on the map belong to a certain element, for example Dökkálfar are Dark-type enemies, while Brennálfar are Fire-type enemies.

Einherjar can craft higher-tier Weapons with Steinar the Blacksmith that are imbued with one of the four elements which can help (or hinder) when fighting enemies.

Hitting a creature with a weapon whose element is the creature's own type will have reduced damage, while using a weapon of the opposite element will increase damage. (Damage Up Damage Down This is indicated while fighting with up or down arrows next to the amount of damage from each strike.) Fire and Ice are opposing elements; Thunder and Dark are also opposing elements.
