Customize is a tab in the Main Menu of Tribes of Midgard.
Before entering the world, customize your Einherjar to be the fiercest in battle. Personalize not only the physical appearance of the Character, but also decide which Cosmetic Weapons and Cosmetic Protections to show off to the world. There are also some critical decisions to be made in the Accessories panel which can give you a starting boost and a companion to help collect your loot.
Cosmetic Weapons and Protections are optional and will override the visual appearance of that piece of gear once acquired in the game. (Some of the cosmetic items are items that can be acquired in the game, though the cosmetic item will not have any of those effects unless that item is actually equipped.)
An exclamation notification will show up on the main menu and on the section when a new cosmetic item has been acquired.
Equipping a Pet in the Accessories panel will give you the option to have them pick up after you. Don't like someone following you around? Turn off 'Display Your Pet' in the Settings tab. Pet must still be equipped in order to have them autoloot. Alternatively, your pet can simply be for show by changing the 'Pet Autoloot' to 'off' in the Settings tab.
